Since then, I had moved twice and started preparing for a third. My husband and I moved to the Netherlands last July and I started school and a new company in September. We had managed until recently when I got a pretty terrible news that the government canceled my study loan and since it is almost impossible to find a job for non Dutch speakers in this corner of the Netherlands, we have to go back home and start again. We are moving back in the end of May and hope to find jobs back home as soon as we can.
I am grateful for all the help we had from friends and for all of the things we learned in the last months. I got to learn to use a knitting machine, industrial sewing machine, I learned more about Illustrator, InDesign and some of the fine points of the fashion industry processes. Experienced a new way of schooling and education and in English as well. And although I don't have any diploma to show for my time spent in school here, I gained a lot of experience and managed to come to terms with my leader side.
I got to ride a bike in the Netherlands, which was my dream for some time, and got to have beautiful mornings with view and sound of some sheep. After months of worry and stress here in this beautiful land, I hope to find some peace and happiness back home and have a chance to use my new found skills at a good paying job, hopefully in fashion and with a chance of promotion in the future.
