realized it's been a long time since i last wrote a post

Since then, I had moved twice and started preparing for a third. My husband and I moved to the Netherlands last July and I started school and a new company in September. We had managed until recently when I got a pretty terrible news that the government canceled my study loan and since it is almost impossible to find a job for non Dutch speakers in this corner of the Netherlands, we have to go back home and start again.  We are moving back in the end of May and hope to find jobs back home as soon as we can.

I am grateful for all the help we had from friends and for all of the things we learned in the last months. I got to learn to use a knitting machine, industrial sewing machine, I learned more about Illustrator, InDesign and some of the fine points of the fashion industry processes. Experienced a new way of schooling and education and in English as well. And although I don't have any diploma to show for my time spent in school here, I gained a lot of experience and managed to come to terms with my leader side.

I got to ride a bike in the Netherlands, which was my dream for some time, and got to have beautiful mornings with view and sound of some sheep. After months of worry and stress here in this beautiful land, I hope to find some peace and happiness back home and have a chance to use my new found skills at a good paying job, hopefully in fashion and with a chance of promotion in the future.

Today we packed...

Almost a year ago my then boyfriend/now husband and I moved out to live together in a really nice big apartment on the outskirts of Zagreb. Since then, we learned a lot, got a bunch of new things and interests and got married in February. We love living here but we decided to move.

Last couple of days and the next, we are packing our stuff and beginning a new and greater adventure.  I wont tell you the details yet but believe me when I say that its HUUUGEEEE. :)

SO for now I made a little sketch of our progress ;)

Do you have any experience with packing and moving?
Do you have any tips? I find that Pinterest is very helpful :D

...tried blow drying my hair

Yesterday was a really weather-freaky day. In between pouring rain and sunshine I managed to get a haircut and a blow out. It didn't matter that I was soaking wet from pouring rain while I got that haircut it is only important to say that I fell in love with the way my hair looked so on the way home I picked up a round brush and some silicone hair treatment the lady used on my hair in the salon.

Today I decided to give it a go and try blow drying my hair. I tried ironing and curling, wearing curlers, wearing cloth bits the old fashioned way and a lot of other stuff before, but never blow drying with a round brush. First try was a huge fail but after watching a couple you tube videos I finally managed to make the mess that is my hair look decent again .

I'm very thankful for those videos so I'll post links to them and the products I got down below. :)
